Who We Help

With your help, Olly’s Box is able to provide support to the following dog rescue groups to help dogs in need.

Thank you for being part of Olly’s Box, and making this much needed support a possibility.

Best Friends Rescue

Best Friends Refuge and is a non-profit registered charity that saves and rehomes abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats in Brisbane on the Gold Coast and surrounding areas in Queensland Australia.

Most of BFR animals are saved from death row in Council Pounds while others have been surrendered to us. BFR are 100% No-Kill and as we do not yet have a shelter, our animals live with foster carers until the perfect home is found. This service runs successfully because of our wonderful dedicated foster carers, volunteers and supporters.

Sydney Dogs and Cats Home

Sydney Dogs and Cats Home has been taking care of Sydney’s lost and abandoned animals since 1946. In 1999, they evolved into a not-for-profit organisation and an active re-homing facility, which prides itself on placing no time limit on any adoptable animal that is in their care.

Today the Home opens its doors to up to 4000 animals each year and services 10 council areas across Sydney.

SA Dog Rescue

SA Dog Rescue is a registered not-for-profit organisation, supported by volunteers in South Australia, dedicated to saving pets from euthanasia, and finding them a new home where they can live the life they deserve.

When other humans let them down, SA Dog Rescue won’t turn their backs on them, as in the heart of every stray lies the single desire to be loved.

DFL Dog Rescue

DFL Dog Rescue is based in Perth metro and run totally by volunteers. All of their dogs are placed in foster homes in the metro area until they are adopted.

DFL have hundreds of foster carers all over Perth who care for the dogs until they are ready to move to their forever homes.

Staffy Rescue

Staffy Rescue is a registered animal welfare charity committed to trying to save and rehome as many Staffordshire bull terriers and larger breed dogs as possible. Staffy Rescue rescues dogs from death row at pounds across NSW and kennels them at our shelter in north western Sydney.

Staffy Rescue is a No Kill rescue which means that every dog rescued from the pound is loved and cared for no matter how long it takes for them to find their forever home. Staffy Rescue is privately run and self funded, and is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers. All dogs are desexed, micro-chipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested and lifetime registered in NSW. They are also treated with preventatives for fleas (monthly), intestinal worms (quarterly) and heartworm (annual injection). Just as importantly the dogs are nurtured and well fed, they are exercised and take part in training and walks at the shelter and receive heaps of affection.

Maggie’s Rescue

Maggie’s Rescue is a registered animal welfare charity, a co-operative of carers that support animals in need of homes. Their goal is to find these animals their permanent homes in families who will commit to loving them for life.

Maggie’s Rescue is committed to No Kill philosophy and believe that public education and desexing is the cornerstone of this. Maggie’s Rescue aim to have basic obedience for each dog by the time of rehome in place and offer ongoing telephone assistance for new owners if needed.
